Description
Elvis Presley ORIGINAL SUN 45 rpm record from 1955. This is Sun Records #217 Baby Let's Play House / I'm Left You're Right She's Gone. This record is one of five extremely rare sun records sessions the king recorded before being sold to RCA. The record is in near mint or a "9-" on the Osborne grading scale. There is a ghost type imprint on the A-side from an old Decca sleeve the record was in while in storage, I have attempted to catch it in the more off color picture. I have not attempted any cleaning of this as it should be left to a professional. Both sides play flawlessly with no skips,pops or crackles short of what was customary in the old sun studio recordings. The B-side label had been printed off center resulting in part of the title being cut away, again not unlike the old sun studios pressings. The A-side label is close to perfect as can be for a 55 year old masterpiece. This record like all original Sun 217s does have push marks. The Trail off area reads on A-side u-143x 45-2- 72 and on B-side 45-u-142- 45 72. The record does not have the original sleeve but will be shipped bubble wrapped in a heavy sleeve.
