ELVIS PRESLEY - “PROMISED LAND” (APD1-0873), THE RARE BLACK LABEL "QUARADISC" PRESSING FROM 1977! STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!         RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, glossy surfaces! This "Quadradisc" record appears to have seen very little play. There is a noticeable, angled surface scratch on "It's Midnight". I test-played this track and it played beautifully! However, I do not think I have ever heard this song play "crystal clear" on any vinyl record because of the quiet parts in it; surface noise, however not offensive to the listening ear, will be present every time!  These Black Label issues from 1977 are actually more rare than the original Orange Label pressings from 1975! The "Promised Land" album was originally released in January of 1975 and includes the hit singles "If You Talk In Your Sleep / Help Me" and "Promised Land / It's Midnight". This album is valued at $300 (NM) in Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VII" (2012).   COVER: NM with full original shrink wrap! Thanks to this, there is virtually no ring wear on the cover. The original store price sticker of just $6.79 remains affixed on the shrink wrap. A date, 6/21/79 is written on that price sticker in ball-point pen. This is one beautiful and historic cover!         INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS" (54F) sleeve from the era. 

PROMOTIONAL FLYER:  VG++ with just some minor wrinkling from handling. There are no hard bends or creases present. This flyer was included mainly inside of copies of "ELVIS IN CONCERT" (APL2-2587), but was also found in many other titles during the era. It is a promotional flyer advertising Elvis' LP's that were available at the time.
