Description
This is an above average Elvis rarity from 1957 on the rare gold/purple HMV label with the famous “Nipper” logo.
Record
The record lies 100% flat on the turntable. The vinyl surface amazingly shows light hairlines only on paralysed, with maybe
slightly more on the B side when viewed in bright light. Nothing at all that affects play.
Labels
The distinctive purple and gold HMV labels are in excellent condition. In bright light you can make out some light spindle lines though these are hard to see against the purple background.
Sound Quality
The audio quality is excellent. During the play grading there were no skips or jumps. There was an absolute minimum of crackle,
very light indeed and just heard occasionally way down beneath the music. Most Elvis singles from the fifties turn up trashed
through misuse and with terrible sound quality. This one is an exception with way above average audio.
Please see scans of record and labels below
The grading system I use is from Record Collector:- Mint, Excellent, Very Good with +/- to distinguish borderline grades.
All records are carefully visually and play graded before auction to avoid any disappointment to buyers, so bid with confidence.
A full no quibble refund for the cost of the record will be offered if you are not satisfied for ANY reason.
I treat all vinyl with the greatest respect whether £5 or £50, so all records are sent out with protective covers in professional mailers and two protective stiffeners. I always seperate records from their covers and original inner sleeves for posting to prevent seam splits occurring during shipping.
I would advise insurance to be taken out on any record sale greater than £30.00 as protection against loss or damage during shipping.
Please do not bid if you have significant negative feedback unless checking first.
I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH VINYL FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS.
I AIM TO PROVIDE TOP QUALITY RECORDS WITH A TROUBLE FREE TRANSACTION.
IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED FOR ANY REASON PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL
OFFER A FULL REFUND MINUS THE POSTAGE COSTS.
PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BIDS!
