RCA UK 50 (2 LP Box Set) "1929 - 1979, 50 YEARS OF RCA IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. Genuine vintage original England import complete with Box, 2 LPs with sleeves and insert. I believe this to be a Promotional item but it does not say "Not For Sale" on it, issued circa 1979. Everything is in Mint or near-mint condition. The records look like they have never been played. The box itself is still bright white. The corners are sharp. No seam splits, tears, writing, stickers, etc. There is a little rub wear here an there, but not much. The inner sleeves say "RCA Limited Record Division, Made in England 10-78."
A super nice and comprehensive collection containing some of the most popular RCA artists in the UK (and Worldwide) from 1929 to 1979. The first selection is from Enrico Caruso, "Leoncavallo" and the last song is Bonnie Tyler, "It's A Heartache." Record one is the famous RCA RED SEAL label and contains all Classical recordings - some of the best ever. Record two is on the then current ORANGE label and contains Jazz, Pop, and Rock recordings.
"Jailhouse Rock" original 1957 recording by Elvis is on Side 3. There is a lot of great music here. David Bowie, Nilsson, Benny Goodman, Julie Andrews, Fats Waller, John Denver, and of course, Spike Jones. Much, much more!
Please ask any questions you may have. International bidders are welcome. I specialize in Elvis Presley collectibles and this is a rare item. I don't recall seeing it for sale. It is from my 30 plus years of collecting. As various artist samplers go, this is very hard to find.

Don't be concerned with my feedback of less than 100%. It is the result of only one negative comment in over 10 years. It will expire in about 3 months and I will return to 100% again. Unfortunately someone wanted to deliberately ruin my rating over a $10 item. There was no contact from the buyer. It was well described and photographed. Under new ebay guidelines this never would have happened as sellers are now protected against such things.
