ELVIS PRESLEY, ROCK ‘N’ ROLL, ORIGINAL 1956 UK DEBUT 12” FIRST ISSUE VINYL LP ON HIS MASTER’S VOICE (HMV) RECORD LABELS, CATALOGUE NUMBER, CLP 1093.
Not my usual high quality standards, nevertheless a true rarity so please read my description carefully.
The LP is on the Early H.M.V. record labels, with ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text on both labels.
Both record labels are in very nice undamaged Excellent condition, bright and clean record labels, showing centre spindle lines to each label, otherwise all Gold printed text is unfaded and clear.
Side 1 matrix. 2 XAV 255-1 N. Side 2. 2XAV 256-1 N.
Side 1 stampers.1 H. Side 2. 1 2 G G.
The letters R T are stamped in the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the heavy vinyl disc are in visually Very Good condition, clean high gloss vinyl surfaces with several surface hairline scratches, no deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays with a superb sound quality through all tracks, with NO skips, and just a little light background crackle, otherwise a superb sound quality with an easy 7/10 play quality score.
The LP comes in its original Poly Lined Made in Great Britain Printed Bag and is housed in its original picture sleeve in Good Minus condition, the sleeve is an original and shows a lot of wear and tear with wear to the edges and corners and sellotape on the opening and bottom edges.
This is a respectable example of this very rare 1956 Elvis Presley UK debut album release with great sound quality.
