ELVIS PRESLEY ROCK ‘n’ ROLL No 2 AN ORIGINAL 1957 UK 1st ISSUE VINYL LP ON THE HIS MASTERS VOICE RECORD LABELS, CATALOGUE NUMBER CLP 1105.
ORIGINAL 1st Issue LP, COMPLETE WITH IT’S ORIGINAL SLEEVE.
The LP has the traditional Mauve with Gold Print, His Master’s Voice record labels, with ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text on both labels.
Both record labels are in very nice Excellent condition, bright and clean record labels, showing some centre spindle lines to each label, with no fading to the gold leaf print.
Side 1 matrix is G2-WP-7207-2N/Side 2 G2-WP-7208-1N.
Side 1 stampers:12 L, Side 2: 1GD.
There is an XT Tax Code on centre of the side 1 record label.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in Very Good Plus condition, the vinyl LP is in very respectable condition and shows just light surface hairline scratches.
The LP plays very well, a superb sound quality, with no skips or jumps, there are 5 clicks at the beginning of track one, side 1, and a further click about 15 second in, and just a little light background crackle, more evident on the track, Old Shep, overall the playback quality is 7 out of 10.
The LP comes in its original Polythene Lined Bag, and is housed in its original picture sleeve, and is in Very Good Plus condition, the sleeve is an original and has no tears or major damage, the front shows LP indentation and a couple of small laminate bubbles and unbroken laminate lifting near to the spine edge.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean with just age toning to the opening edge and flip-backs, there are no splits to the edges.
This is a respectable example of this very rare 1957 Elvis’s second UK album release.
