Description

You have the opportunity to bid on this Very RARE Elvis "ROUSTABOUT" (LPM-2999) album, with the "Silver Top" RCA Victor logo! First of all, I do NOT ship overseas. Most of my grading is visual as I do not have the time to "play grade", due to the amount of records that I am in the process of cataloging for up-coming auctions to thin out my collection. My grading is based upon my 25 years of experience as a collector. This "ROUSTABOUT" album is the FIRST PRESSING with the "Silver Top" logo from October, 1964 and is very rarely seen on eBay! There are literally thousands of copies with the "White Top" logo (January, 1965) out there and they sell for peanuts. Don't think you have an "original" copy if you have the "White Logo" version! This is the FIRST PRESSING! This copy is visually graded a "8" (VG+), with some very light superficial scratches that should not have an effect on the audible enjoyment. There are also a few concentric needle marks along the grooves that should also be non-audible. Overall, the vinyl retains virtually all of its original gloss! The labels are very much like that of a Near Mint copy! You'd have to strain your eyes to find any spindle marks! The cover is very clean and free of any writing, grafitti or holes. It does, however, have a four-inch seam split at the top right. There's some general shelf wear and minor corner scuffs. Includes the original inner sleeve, showing Elvis' then-current LP catalog and it is free of any writing or seam splits. If you are unsatisfied with this item for any reason, you may return it at your cost for a refund within 7 days of receipt. The approximate value of this item according to Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VI" is $250.
