ELVIS PRESLEY - “ROUSTABOUT” (LSP-2999), THE HIGHLY COVETED AND VERY RARE "SILVER TOP" STEREO VARIETY!         RECORD: VG- with a multitude of surface scratches & scuffs on both sides. This record, being as rare as it is, deserved an opportunity to be played in full. Therefore, I listened carefully as this record played in its entirety and it did not skip one single time, nor were there any repeats! Yes, there are plenty of "ticks" and general surface noise, but nothing that actually over-powered the music. A few of the scratches can actually be felt with the fingertip, but the record played through, nonetheless! The "Silver Top" STEREO labels show some spindle marks as well as fingerprinting, but no writing or stickers, ever. These were produced exclusively at the Hollywood pressing plant for a very short time period; Indianapolis and Rockaway produced ONLY "White Top" copies in both, Stereo and Monaural. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1964. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S.    COVER: VG++ with just a small amount of corner and spotted edge wear. There are no seam splits, tape or staple holes anywhere on this cover. Some light ring wear is noticed on the front and back, but it is not too noticeable. The spine is smooth, consistent and fully legible.   INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40A) sleeve from the era.
