Description
This auction is for Elvis Presley's 45 rpm Milky White Way/Swing Down Sweet Chariot 447-0652 with picture sleeve.I bought this in 1966 when it came out and put it away in my collection. The record looks brand new and has never been played to my knowledge as I already had the "His Hand In Mine" album and had no need to play the 45. Back then I bought every 45 and album released by Elvis. I had put two pieces of poster board cut to fit on each side of the record inside the sleeve to prevent ring wear. As a result, you can hardly notice any ring wear at all. There are no seam splits, tears or writing to the record sleeve. There is a faint crinkle or indentation to three of the corners. See first picture. This can hardly be seen looking straight on at the sleeve. The sleeve is over 46 years old and does have a few very faint brown age spots on the sleeve. Your can hardly see these. There a horizontal white line running through Elvis' face on both pictures. This is a scanner problem and not on the actual sleeve. All said, the sleeve and record are in very good to excellent shape in my opinion. I do not grade records or sleeves. I have tried to describe this item the best I can. Again I'am the one and only owner. Please view the pictures and make your final judgement. I only ship to the United States. I will insure this record when I mail it. E-mail if you have any questions. Thanks for your consideration.
