Thank you for taking the time to look at this auction from my Elvis collection. You are bidding on a super rare promotional only Elvis 45 rpm record picture sleeve. I have not been able to find another one for price reference- my record guides do not have this picture sleeve listed...It lists the 7 inch vinyl 45 # 139, but does not show a sleeve for that issue.
Firstly I would like to say that this IS NOT made on a copier. It is printed on heavy bond paper, looks like from legal sized cardstock. The printing quality is obviously professional- especially the depth and color of the ink on the back. You can tell that it was printed using a real commercial process. The ink is NOT faded like typical copier ink would be. The paper is yellowed in areas and appears vintage 1964.

Format: 7 inch 45 Phonograph Record Picture Sleeve Only
Condition: Slight ringwear, paper yellowed, mostly around edges though. Very light stain only about 1/4 inch spot above the G in programming word on back (coffee?) Corners have light wrinkles but no tears. Center hole of front paper has 1/16 inch tear at top from handling. (go back in time and slap the DJ- Pow!)
Known history: I bought this from an elderly gentleman out near airport road, in Eugene, Oregon in 1983. He was formerly a DJ and he had boxes and boxes of mostly 45's. He had so rare many records I wish I had bought more. I always planned on going back someday to get some more of his hoard, but one day I drove by and the house was gone! Just an empty lot next to a field now. Whoa- 1983 was 25 years ago already.
I can make no claims for the authenticity, I don't have another example to compare it to. Soooooo, it is sold as-is. I leave it to the buyer to have it authenticated- maybe go on that TV show the History Detectives! Anyways, have it authenticated and then you may have the only copy, or one of the only known copies in existence. If anybody has any info I would appreciate an email
