Rare 1956 1st UK Pressing of Rock 'N Roll....the very first album by Elvis Presley on HMV CLP 1093 labels with 1N/1N Matrices , original W.R.W. fully laminated flipback cover and original Handling Instructions Polylined Inner Sleeve........RT Tax Stamp on side 1 label which was in use October 26th 1955 to August 27th 1956 so this is a very early 1st UK Press...
Vinyl has numerous light hairlines/scuffs and some more obvious marks .....some background noise on run ins , between tracks and in quiet bits.......... plays very nicely all the way through with no skips, sticks or jumps .....terrific clear and powerful sound on this high quality 1st UK pressing.... visual Fair and audio Fair to Good
The original W.R.W. fully laminated flipback cover has a piece missing at front of top and is worn through at join with opening for 70mm....see pics.....small tear to front mended with clear tape and old clear tape over opening edges....tear across E of Presley......some damage to both flipbacks.....see pics.........general wear/scuffing to corners , edges and spine.....no unwanted writing anywhere and lovely whiteness to rear....Fair
