Rare 1956 1st UK Pressing of Rock 'N Roll....the very first album by Elvis Presley on HMV CLP 1093 labels with 1N/1N Matrices with original W.R.W. fully laminated flipback cover .......XT Tax Stamp on side 2 label which was in use June 1st 1957 to October 1st 1958 so this is an early 1st UK Press...
Vinyl has numerous light hairlines/scuffs and some more obvious marks .....a little background noise on run ins , between tracks and in quiet bits.......... plays very nicely all the way through with no skips, sticks or jumps .....terrific clear and powerful sound on this high quality 1st UK pressing.... visual Fair to Good and audio G++
The original W.R.W. fully laminated flipback cover has heavy wear at opening including two internally repaired tears ...small name M A Draper rear top left......some light damage to both flipbacks.....see pics.........general wear/scuffing to corners , edges and spine..... lovely whiteness to rear....Fair
HMV CLP 1093 labels in superb condition with XT Tax Stamp on side 2 label which was in use June 1st 1957 to October 1st 1958 ......2XAV-255-1N and 2XAV-256-1N Matrices , 1 2/1 Mothers and GP/GH Stampers......rare and original early 1st UK Pressing.......
