Elvis Presley – “Rock ‘n’ Roll – HMV CLP 1093
The first ever Elvis record released in the UK.
The record was purchased by my mother in 1959; it has been played numerous times (but not in the last 30 years!) and displays no major deterioration in sound quality. The record does have surface marks and light scratches and some surface noise is evident upon playing. I recently played this record through complete, both sides.
The record comes with the original sleeve and the record label itself shows very little sign of wear.
The outer sleeve is intact with some creasing around the edges and there is a small tear but there is no evidence of tape or stickers marring the overall condition and no laminate peeling.
Using the eBay guide, I would rate the quality of the record as Good to Very Good whilst the record cover is Fair to Good.
