This auction is a chance to get a fine example of the rare 1956 Elvis album Rock n Roll on the HMV label.

The sleeve is in very good condition.
Elvis collectors will be aware of just how flimsy the 1950s HMV sleeves were which makes it all the harder to find one in good condition.
There is probably less edge wear than you would expect from an album this old.
The only real wear is along a third of the top seam above 'E' in Elvis.
Slight corner wear in the bottom left corner then just very small amounts along the spine and along the seams.
There is a 1 inch seam split from the opening finishing under the 'Y' of Presley.
The opening has a strip of Sellotape down both sides.
The back of the sleeve looks amazing, no pen marks, rips or tears.

The vinyl is in very good+/excellent- condition. There are only some light surface marks. Hopefully the photos show the condition (and the amazing condition of the labels).

The labels are excellent+/near mint condition. They look as bright as the day they were printed with no marks,rips or tears on either.
There is also hardly any spindle wear.

The album comes in its original inner sleeve which is also in excellent+ condition.

I think this will be one of the best examples of this album you will find on eBay at the moment and considering its age and flimsy sleeve, it is holding up very well.
