Elvis Presley's debut album

1956 1st edition on HMV label CLP 1093

The album is in good condition, although it does have a very small crack in it, but this doesnt affect the play of the record and to be honest at first i thought it was just a scratch but on closer inspection it is a crack but it does play without jumps. I have tried to photograph this small crack, (but its impossible to see) which is on the edge, across the first song only. It does crackle a little, but thats too be expected from a record of this age.

The cover is in overall very good condition, just has a small tear on the back which could be stuck with sellotape, but i've left it as it is, because its really not that bad at all. The rest of the cover is as original all still joined as it should be.

The inner sleeve is in excellent condition and is the original HMV sleeve. It says: 'Take good care of your records, check your gramophone needle regularly, a worn needle will give poor performance of your records, a chipped needle will permanently damage them'

The record is not warped and plays all the way through without jumping.
