Elvis Presley
Rock 'n' Roll No 2
12"LP / 33rpm HMV
RARE!
This is the rarest UK Elvis Presley 12” album EVER called Rock ‘n’ Roll NO 2 (CLP 1105)
Buy it now before it escapes!
Matrix number G2 WP 7207-2N.
It is an original 1956 Mono UK pressing on the purple HMV label. This label originated in the 40’s and looks really strange on a 1950’s rock and roll 33 rpm record.
This album is very difficult to find and is always the album Elvis collectors want and can never find as it is so rare!
Mint copies have been selling for over £1,800 recently.
This pressing has been well played and has surface marks and scratches.
You must remember however that it is the HOLY GAIL of Elvis records and could complete your Elvis collection.
I have played the record and it does have surface noise, however no skips or jumps were evident.
The record is not sold with a sleeve.Just the record only.
Like most of these original records, they were not looked after well and the sleeves were lost. Also the sleeve was made of thin card that was easily torn.
The record is not bad for 57 years old.
The label has writing on both sides in red felt pen.
I doubt you will find another record like this for sale as they never turn up.
The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl.
The Elvis number 1 album sold in vast amounts and is well know, however Elvis 2 sold in small numbers and then pressing changed to RCA.
This is why the record is so rare and important.
If you have the original LP sleeve and no record, then purchase this, as you will instantly double your money.
Good bidding!
