ATTENTION SERIOUS ELVIS COLLECTORS: THIS IS THE RARE SILVER LETTER MONO RECORD!!!

Yes it does exist! For you collectors who have been wanting to add this hard to find, much less buy lp this is your chance! This record is so rare it is not even listed in Goldmine.

For some reason RCA decided to change this record to Monaural with white lettering shortly after it first came out in 1964. Most of the records you see up for bid or sell are monaurals. Occassionally, you will see one of the whilte letter monos, but when was the last time you saw a siver letter copy?  Only a few of these silver letter mono  records were made. The monos with white lettering are less rare than the silver lettered version. Jerry Osbourne lists this record with the silver lettering at $650-$750 in near mint condition.This copy is in VG+ on both sides. Both sides have some smudges and hairlines. Both sides sound good. There is some noticible noise and popping on both sides. This record was probably played quite a bit by the previous owner. Overall the sound is still very good for a 46year old record. The previous owner stamped his name and address on the label on both sides so the label is VG+ on both sides. The original inner sleeve is in very good condition and features the upcoming release of the movie Kissin Cousins in the upper right hand corner.
