ELVIS PRESLEY - “SEPARATE WAYS” (CAS-2611), AN ORIGINAL RCA CAMDEN ISSUE, STILL IN THE SHRINK WITH BONUS "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" GREETING POST CARD! RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, original glossy surfaces! This Indianapolis pressing played beautifully upon test. There are a few very light surface scuffs that have no effect on the audible performance. The "worst" of these is on "Is It So Strange" (happens to be one of my most favorite Elvis songs!) and it was a pleasure to hear that track play so perfectly! The Blue RCA Camden labels are beautiful, with just a few light light spindle marks. This album was released in December of 1972 and includes the hit single, "Always On My Mind / Separate Ways". COVER: VG++ (EXC) with 97% of the original shrink wrap still present! A very small piece to the upper left corner (spine side) has torn away. Some impression marks on the cover in that area is evidence that something had caught the shrink and tore it, although there are no scrapes or abrasions to the cover itself. Of course, there is no ring wear, seam splits, tape, or staple holes present. A great cover! INNER SLEEVE: Plain white.
BONUS “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” POST CARD: NM- with very original glossy-smooth surfaces and sharp corners. However, there is a bit of a bend as well as a finger smudge just to the right of Elvis’ left hip. This is something that is seen only when tilted against a light source.
