Description

Elvis Presley with the Jordanaires SP-45-76 Don’t / Wear My Ring Around Your Neck Rare 7” Promo Single W/Sleeve. This is the rare RCA Victor DJ Promo single including the original yellow sleeve sent out to DJs in 1960. Stamped Not For Sale on both sides. Small piece of tape covering the dog and victrola on the Don’t side. Wear My Ring side reads Sp-45-76 Rush Music Corp. E Presley Music Inc., BMI J2WW-0181 2:15 in left column. The Don’t Side reads the same up until BMI but is followed by H2PW-5529 2:48.


Very few exist with both sleeve and the single, and these are both VG. Sleeve is split a bit on the bottom side but in very good shape overall, slightly shelfworn and ringwear as seen in pictures. Two small scratches, one on Side A and one on Side B, which can be seen in both pictures. Both sides play beautifully, clean sound with some very mild crackle heard mostly on Don’t, the quieter song of the two. No skips, pops etc. Side seams of the sleeve are still fully glued and overall everything is in great shape.
