Description

I am very excited to finally find a copy of this collectible release and offer it for sale here on ebay. It includes all three records, though sadly does not have the cover. I know that with the cover it frequently sells for $2k+, but I offer here a nice VG set for just $400 buy it now.
As the story goes, this set was never available for sale to the public, but was only released with the high-end RCA Elvis Presley autograph edition record player. There is a 2x45 set that was sold with the cheaper RCA Elvis record player, but this is the deluxe 3x45 set and has a different tracklist than on Elvis' first RCA LP. Super rare, super sought after, and I'm guessing that if you are reading this you know what it is.
I don't have the gatefold cover, but I do have 1956 RCA Victor era-specific company sleeves to match.
Condition is broadly VG. Disc 1/6 has a small sticker on Side 1 and a larger piece of tape on side 6 (see images). I took photos under bright neon lights so you could see all the imperfections. Lots of light marks and scuffs, but nothing feelable. Side 1 is Solid VG and side 6 looks like a G+ w/ slightly more wear. Both sides play great w/ very light crackle. I'd say playback is closer to VG+. Sides 2/5 are similar. They look like a low grade VG w/ lots of light marks, but play back around VG+. Small sticker on side 2 label. Sides 3/4 look closer to G+ or lower VG, but again, play back a solid VG+. I took videos of each side playing on system, but ebay won't let me upload them. I tried to include one of the lower G+ graded sides so you can hear that it just howls out of the speaker, but it really does play VG+! A couple stray clicks and pops, but just chugs loud and clear. I vacuum cleaned all 6 sides on my Loricraft record cleaner and that always helps.  A really nice playing and sounding set!
Shipping in US is $16, carefully packed, mailed priority and insured for $400.
