Description

This is an auction of very rare Elvis Presley - SUPER RARE SUN 209 - "That's All Right"/"Blue Moon of Kentucky" 78rpm. Usually reserved for auction houses - I am offering this to the world of Ebay. Please see the several large photos. This rare item has a beautiful side 1 label with no writing and very little wear - it is in excellent condition with almost no spindle wear. I would suggest that this might in fact be one of the best side 1 labels IN THE WORLD. Side 2 with "Kentucky" has some fine red ballpoint marks but is also in otherwise very good condition with almost no spindle wear. Both sides of the 78rpm record surface shows many light scratches and some scuffs but it PLAY GRADES an amazing Mint- on both sides - the needle plays the undamaged inner grooves and the visible surface marks do not affect the play quality. Great sound - Elvis' vocals are clear and Scotty's guitar is bright and vibrant - just as one might image the original owner hearing it in the 1950s - having the same experience as I did. Part of a collection I purchased this summer of mostly vintage country & western rare 78s and 45s that I will be offering later this fall and winter on Ebay - this rockabilly gem was an amazing find.
