What a find! From an estate sale, here is the 2nd record that Elvis Presley ever made. It was recorded at the Sun Studios in Memphis on September 9, 1954, and released to the public that same month. Good Rockin' Tonight, and on the flip side, I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine. The label is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with almost no marks on the spindle hole. The record shows very little wear, some scuffing...but no outstanding scratches. I played both sides, and could not hear any ticks or skipping. There was a little "static" at the beginning of one side, but that may be from the record not being cleaned. I don't have the knowledge to clean it, I will leave that to the collector expert who buys this wonderful piece of ROCK & ROLL history. On the label is U-130 and U-131, and those same numbers are etched in the dead wax area. I am not a collector, so I may have left out some pertinent information, so please ask any questions you may have...and good luck in bidding!
