Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 Gold Standard Series single Santa Claus Is Back In Town / Blue Christmas  released in the USA.

The record itself (447-0647 Dog On Side ) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.

There are minimal visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or that can be felt.

The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!

This has the added bonus of being a 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.

The picture sleeve is much sought after and is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition. (hence the lower starting price)

This sleeve is 52 years old and has a few signs of age.(see photos)

This hard to find sleeve has NO WRITING!

The only things that stop this from grading higher is ringwear/creases/scuff marks, a partial seam split on the side and a tear at the top from where I assume the original staple / seal was ripped off(see photos)

THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND!!

Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $45+(£37) , so i guess it must now be at least £38

 I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
