Absolutely NO Bidding by buyers with less than 25 Positive Feedback Rating. Sorry but there are too many problems with unestablished bidders.
Up for auction is a copy of Sun #209 78 RPM Single of Elvis Presley's first Sun pressing BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY / THAT'S ALL RIGHT. I am far from an expert on grading these records but based on a web site I found the record seems to grade VG. I played the record on my Panasonic belt drive turntable which has a tracking weight of about 1/2 ounce and it played with no skips on either side. Also, there is remarkably little surface noise. I had to play it at 45 RPM because my turntable doesn't have a 78 speed so the sound was distorted but the surface noise was very light. There is a chip on the edge but it doesn't affect the run in to the music. There are scratches on the record surface but it still plays pretty good. I'm pretty good at packing fragile items so this very fragile record will not be broken in shipping. However, I will require insurance so don't pay for the item before I send you an invoice wihich will include insurance cost.
