Description

Sun 209 by Elvis Presley Scotty and Bill: That's All Right..b/w..Blue Moon Of Kentucky. Elvis first Sun release. Original thick pressing with three push marks under both very clean labels. Labels have only a little ring wear each side. This copy has unusual publishing credits on"Blue Moon..." label. Wabash and Peer are shown, but no BMI. "Blue Moon..." was published only by Peer originally, so this is a printing error that was soon corrected! 
Surfaces have very faint groove wear and some very shallow hairlines, VG+.  As most Elvis Sun collectors well know, 209 was cut with a 78 rpm stylus, as were many of the early Sun 45s. It should be played with a 78 rpm needle to reduce the built in hiss that occurs when it's played with a microgroove needle. Visual grade VG+ which is much better than the usual average condition this shows up in.
