Elvis Presley Sun 217 78 RPM N/R
I bought this yesterday at a local estate sale! There is an identical copy listed right now with one bid @ $449.00 (the reserve is not met!). Unlike the lady in Switzerland, I'm starting mine out for one American Dollar with no reserve! This single will not be shipped out of the country, and I will not send to a buyer whom is unverified with paypal.
"I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" - Dead wax reads (looks like?) U 142 72 Triangle Symbol 3289. Karen Caton signed her name on this side, and there are surface scratches, and mars. There are no skips or pops, and this side sounds remarkabley well!
"Baby, Let's Play House" - Dead wax reads...U 143-2 Triangle Symbol 3445. This side also plays without any skipping or popping. There is more of a background hiss on this side. I thought, that it might be my turntable, so I stepped back a few yards, and still heard a slight hiss. It was not near as bad, as when I was standing over the turntable. It might be my needle too? The single could use a good cleaning, and that could make all the difference in the world. Once again, both sides play without skipping, and there are no cracks in the vinyl. the edges are chip and crack free. I see one flea bite, but it appears, that it was part of the molding, and not actual damage! I'll be happy to send more pictures. I took these photos inside under flourescent light with and without a flash. They are not my best!
