Description
VERY SCARCE original recording by Elvis Presley on Sun Records! The 45 rpm record features "Good Rockin' Tonight" on one side and "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" on the other. Numbered 210. We are not experts on grading record condition but we've owned enough to know that this one is in excellent condition with just a few small light scratches on either side. No deep gouges. We tried to get closeup samples of the record surface so you can judge yourself. The labels on both sides are also in excellent condition (see photos). The record has not been played or tested but by looking at the surfaces we firmly believe it would sound very good. Sold as is, so please email us with any questions or concerns. We think the winning bidder will be very pleased! VERY low minimum bid!

On Jul-05-05 at 13:58:42 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT NOTE: WE LOCATED THE PUSHMARKS (PRESSMARKS) ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD. ON THE "GOOD ROCKIN..." SIDE THE CIRCLES ARE JUST TO THE RIGHT OF THE NUMBER U-131, OVER THE "NIG" IN "TONIGHT", AND ON THE SECOND FOOT OF THE "N" IN "SUN". ON THE OTHER SIDE THE MARKS ARE ON THE FIRST FOOT OF THE "N" IN "SUN", OVER AND JUST BELOW "130" ON THE LEFT SIDE, AND ABOUT 1/4" TO THE RIGHT OF "CARE" IN THE SONG TITLE. On Jul-08-05 at 11:04:28 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT NOTE!! We were finally able to test the record on an old record player and we must say it sounded VERY good for its age. We played both sides all the way through and there were no skips. Minimal hissing, certainly not distracting. Obviously, there was some "snap, crackle, pop" but not nearly what we expected, and mostly at the beginning of "Good rockin..." It got better towards the end of the song, and side 2 was even better. Overall, taking into consideration we had nothing to compare it to but have listened to many old records, we would rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10. This is our subjective opinion and you may rate it higher, but I doubt anyone would rate it lower.price rating
