Description
This is an auction for a GREAT ORIGINAL original copy of the 1975 single T-R-O-U-B-L-E / Mr Songman released in the USA.
The record itself (PB-10278 RARER ORANGE label) is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of its sheen.
The RARER Orange labels have some fading /ringwear and the release date written on the T-R-O-U-B-L-E side (see photos)
They also have the ORIGINAL promo sticker stating " NOT FOR SALE " on the Mr Songman side. (There was a double sided T-R-O-U-B-L-E promo single issued mono/stereo on a plae yellow label but this did not contain Mr Songman)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $25 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in VERY GOOD+
This sleeve is 41 years old and has NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!( see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some creases / ringwear and some small holes from where a staple has been removed. (see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS QUITE A HARD ONE TO FIND !!!!!!Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $50(£37 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £39.
I WILL START THIS AT UNDER A HALF OF THAT!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
