Very rare South African 78 from 1960 'It's Now or Never /A Mess of Blues' on the RCA label.
There is rumoured to be a UK 78 issue of this title although I have never in 50 years seen any evidence to support this. The flip side is different from the UK issue and ultra rare in 78 form. Therefore a 1960 78 is much sought after for Elvis collectors.
The record is in very good condition, remarkable for it's age, strong gloss, has a little superficial wear, no scratches or major marks and plays through fine with a strong authentic sound and hardly any background noise, just some in the first few bars of Now or Never, otherwise plays beautifully, flip plays great. Very nice labels. Extremely hard to find in any condition. A real collector's item.
Very low start for this and no reserve so we'll see where it goes, highest bid will win the record.
