Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 Gold Standard Series single Wooden Heart / Blue Christmas released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0720 Dog On Top )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are some marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
The labels have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The matrix numbers are H2PW-5525-3S and L2PW-3681-5S
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD condition.
This sleeve is over 48 years old and has NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases and seam splits along both sides and the bottom and a feint date stamp on the front(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and will make an adequate affordable collecetion filler until that mint $75 sleeve comes along!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $55+(£36) , so i guess it must now be at least £40.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!
