Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING

I combine shipping costs on multiple purchases. You will be charged the actual postage fee it costs me to send your things. If it is possible, I will combine your purchases into a single package and charge for that. However, with heavier items being posted outside the UK, this may not be possible because Royal Mail only carries a maximum of 2 Kilos. In this case I will divide your purchases up into lots weighing 2 kilos or less. Please bear in mind that I like to package items securely so they arrive safe at the other end, therefore this will add quite a bit to the weight on delicate items.

Due to my job requiring odd hours of working and sometimes a few days away from home, it will sometimes, but not always, be a few days before I can post your item. This is reflected in the Expected Delivery Date you see when buying. If you need something urgently, it is worth contacting me to see if I can give it priority.

Feedback other than positive harms business. Please contact me before leaving feedback, if there is something not right with your purchase. I do my best to describe things accurately, but sometimes there may be issues I am not aware of, I can't be an expert on everything! I am willing to sort out any issue that is due to a mistake of mine. I aim to have only satisfied customers, as I treasure the near 100% feedback that I have. These make it viable to keep my prices down. Many thanks.

Plays OK with very little background crackle, there is a pop on "Blue Moon" side about half way through but it doesn't skip, visually there are a few very minor scratches. At least VG.

I can find no mention of this record anywhere on the internet. It is an acetate promo, on Original Sound Records (which specialised in re-releases and Golden Oldies) dated 1973 on the label, featuring the Elvis songs "Thats All Right" and "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" live at the Louisiana Hayride recorded in 1955. I can find no record of Original Sounds Records releasing this as a single, or even releasing any Elvis stuff at all. In fact I can find no record of the live version being released as a single by anyone. The sleeve has a blank reverse, I am not sure if this is a "home made" sleeve by the former owner, or what the record was originally in, if it is home made it is very professionally done. Drive hole visible under label by holding record up to light.

This must surely be a very rare record.
