Description
Elvis Presley “Don’t, I Beg Of You” very rare, very collectable, original 1st press 78 rpm single, RCA Records UK 1958, RCA1043 (matrix number Side One H2PB5529-1, Side Two H2WB0259-1).
Plain paper sleeve in fairly good condition signs of wear through age & use. The disc appears shiny in very good condition, has several fine handling marks and small scratches.
I have enjoyed playing both sides all the way through on my partner’s old portable record player which has the 78 rpm speed. As I’ve discovered the old 78 singles have quite a high volume which when played loudly do cut out the poppy & crackly background sound, the disc appears flat as it turns and I experienced NO jumps or pauses.
