Rarest Elvis Presley---"Rock'n'Roll" No. 1---EX--Original 1st Press UK Copy On HMV CLP 1093
Here we have a UK 1st press album in mono from 1956 on the burgundy/gold HMV label with a cat. no. CLP 1093 and matrices 1N & 1N--1st press.
Vinyl: Looks great with some scuff marks and light scratches but still has a very high gloss shine and both sides play EX with very little unwanted noise. Superb audio.
Labels: NM. With very little spindle rash. These labels look great and the gold looks lovely against the burgundy.
Sleeve: VG. The flipback sleeve makes a VG and is nice and square with great colours. It has a little lamination lifting on the front and there is a split in the opening front edge about 5cm and a split about 2cm on the bottom seam. One of the better covers I've seen though.
All in all, this is better than the last one I sold and is becoming rarer and rarer in this condition.
With a low start price and no reserve you might get yourself a bargain!
