Description

Before you is the 1960 Original Mega Rare LP " A Date With Elvis " issued while Elvis was still in the army, and the rear has a Calender covering the back page with March 24 ringed as the date Elvis is leaving the army. This record, like the 1959 release called " For LP Fans Only " was fill with already released numbers released on Sun records, then re-released in 1955/56 on RCA now released again on this LP. Some of these songs are from the 1956 film Love Me Tender.

There are no Hops, Skips or Jumps with this record and all the numbers play to a really excellent, almost Mint- sound except on side two, here track four is the very slow Blue Moon that has an odd background sound that does not interfer with the song and is only prominant if played loudly. This is No.2 on sale

Cover       Here we can only say excellent because there is the outline of a ring, very slight creasing at the mouth and there is a slight tendency of lifting of the outer cover.
