Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake And Palmer UK first pressing from 1971 on Island HELP 1.
The stamped matrix no.s are HELP 1 A - 1 U and HELP 1 B - 1 U with PORKY etched into Side 1 and PECKO into Side 2.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition no noticeable scuffs or scratches There is nothing that is audible or affects play.The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing or stains. There is just one very faint spindle line on each side.
The matt gatefold cover, printed by Howards Printers, is in Near Mint condition. I can find only one very faint crease going across the bottom left corner on the front. The spine is perfect and the cardboard is as fresh and crisp as the day it left the printers.
The original blue Island inner sleeve just has some faint browning / ageing to the edges.
In summary
, an excellent copy, especially the cover, of a 41 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
I ship in purpose-made strong cardboard mailers and I'm happy to combine multiple purchases in one parcel to save on shipping costs.
