Description

Up for sale, a special copy of ELP's first album.
I bought this record from an all-time ELP fan more than 15 years ago.
The sleeve is in VG+ condition. Normal shelf wear and corner use. It remains strong with no holes and flat surfaces (see pics).
The record itself is in EX condition (strong shine, minor hairlines on side A and a scuff on side B, plays flawlessly). Island 1st press A-2/B-1 matrix #s. Clean labels, some spindle hole noticeable. There is a sticker on side A with the number 57.
The original inner sleeve includes newspaper and magazine cuttings / clippings from the band. All of them date from 1970-1971 concerts and the album release.
It also includes two concert tickets, (Leeds, October 1970 and Bradford, December 1970).
Above all, it was signed by ELP on their pictures (see pics).
The record is stored in a secondary plain "made in UK" sleeve. I also include a plastic outer sleeve. I will post this in a sturdy flat box.
