Description

Emmett Miller and His Georgia Crackers - The Ghost of the St. Louis Blues / Sweet Mamma (Okeh 41342) 1929.

This guy was quite a character ---- a hot jazz blackface minstrel hillbilly yodeler!

CONDITION:
VG to VG- has a small edge flake on one side, but it is well outside the playing grooves and does not affect play (see large photo below). Also has two small lamination cracks. These do not penetrate all the way through the record ---- they can only be seen on one side. Each crack is about 3/4". These also do not affect the play of the record. I think the best way to evaluate the condition is by listening to these sound clips, taken from this copy of the 78.

NM/EX/VG+/VG/VG-/G

I grade conservatively. My NM means LIKE NEW and is rarely used. My EX records are in truly excellent shape and VGs are playable and enjoyable.
