Description
This product is a set of two high-fidelity 12" LPs by Emmylou Harris, released in 1975 on the Reprise record label. The albums included are "Pieces of the Sky", Harris' critically-acclaimed major label debut, and "Elite Hotel", her first #1 country album. Both are in excellent condition and in their original cover. These first pressings are in stereo, featuring 1970s pop music in English. The black vinyl records play at 33 RPM and come in a cardboard sleeve, making them a valuable addition to any music collection from this era.
Songwriting credits on these two albums include such well-known names as Rodney Crowell, Gram Parsons, Buck Owens, Shel Silverstein, Don Gibson, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, and even a Lennon/ McCartney cover!
Harris' backing band is even more impressive with the incomparable James Burton on guitar, dobro, and whatever other stringed-thing he wants, Bill Payne of Little Feat on piano, young Ricky Skaggs on fiddle & viola, and guest vocal appearances by Linda Ronstadt, Rodney Crowell, and Fayssoux Starling.
