CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely; some light-crackles on side 2 (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (plastic with WB logo). Spine is easy-to-read with very mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and small divots. 1979 Pressing with alternate cover art. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Emmylou Harris is an artist with the rare sort of voice that communicates an honest and firmly grounded humanity while possessing a crystalline purity that verges on the angelic. In short, she was a singer born to make a great Christmas album, and in 1979 she did just that with Light of the Stable. Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, and Neil Young can be found providing backing vocals.
