This is an original ticket for the last night of the World Famous Cavern Club Liverpool Sunday May 27th 1973 Ticket Price £1.25 Ticket No 210 The Beatles played this venue more than any other between 260-292 times estimates vary 1961-1963. Bears date stamp to back corresponding to date on front. Large format 6" x 4 1/2" which explains why someone folded it on the night ! I have seen a couple of these now rare tickets before in the LIPA Liverpool Annual Beatles Auction one made £260 the next one £450 I know the male owner of this Ticket went that night he told me he had to have his trousers dry cleaned after every visit due to dirt from the stone floor. I already have one of these tickets in my collection hence its sale Sadly with little thought to its Historical or Cultural Heritage the Cavern was demolished a few years later. It has now been rebuilt although the entrance is in a different place now ! Posting immediate Will Post Worldwide
