Description
This is a flexible "Diamond Universal Gramophone Record" picture disc and sleeve. These discs were made in London in the early 1930s. The music was from various labels (this one may be from an Edison-Bell 8-inch Radio record. They advertised that they could put any photograph on the disc the customer wanted, so this lady may or may not be a performer or just a lady with her face on a disc. A long article on this label by Frank Andrews is available online in the Talking Machine Review from summer 1993.
I am continuing to sell my 30 year collection of phonographs, parts, accessories, and records, so please bookmark me. All items are sent via Priority Mail with insurance and am happy to combine shipping.
