Here is the 11 track Original Soundtrack UK LP/ Album The Good The Bad And The Ugly by Ennio Morricone. Although originally released in 1968 on the Blue & Silver label, I assume this re-issue on the Cream & Brown label dates from the 1970’s. Housed in a front laminated card picture sleeve & released on United Artists Records, the Catalogue Number is SULP 1197. The record itself is housed within a plain paper inner sleeve. The track listing is The Good The Bad And The Ugly (Main Title), The Sundown, The Strong, The Desert, The Carriage Of The Spirits, Marcia, The Story Of A Soldier, Marcia Without Hope, The Death Of A Soldier, The Ecstasy Of Gold and The Trio- Main Title. The package was made in Great Britain for UK release. Specifically, the disc was made in England while the sleeve was made in Great Britain.

Side 1 Matrix: SULP 1197 A-1 (6 o’clock)     A7 (3 o’clock)     1 (9 o’clock)

Side 2 Matrix: SULP 1197 B-1 (6 o’clock)     A7 (I think) (3 o’clock)     2 (9 o’clock)

The Matrix Numbers are described using a clock face. The first part is the main body of the Matrix Number. It will be at 6 o’clock if it is located in front of the label with the writing curving away from me at the ends (as I look) and at 12 o’clock if it is located behind the label with the writing curving towards me at the ends (as I look). Other times give a rough idea of where additional parts of the Matrix Number are located, in relation to the main part. It’s not meant to be foolproof, just to give an idea of where the various parts of the matrix are, in relation to each other.

Condition as follows including photographs: The sleeve is in very good plus condition, due to slight creasing, slight wear & slight discoloration. There is a tiny (0.5cm) tear to the back open edge of the sleeve. The inner sleeve is in excellent minus/ very good plus condition. The Vinyl is in excellent minus condition. It may benefit from being cleaned. Both sides play through well, with no jumping, skipping or sticking. The overall sound is very good. There is slight surface noise, mostly in quieter passages & between tracks. Throughout most of its duration, it is a very quiet recording, which can make any sounds more noticeable. I don’t think the surface noise is invasive & so would not expect it to affect your listening pleasure. I always expect some surface noise from records of this age & condition. See below for NOTES ON CONDITION*.

Postage charges as follows: UK £4.40. Will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard- Small Parcel to UK destinations as this is a UK only transaction. PLEASE NOTE: Royal Mail Postage charges may be higher than you would expect. I ship at cost, including my packaging (which may also cost more than you would expect, if you don’t send parcels yourself). If you would like the item, please use this information to determine whether to proceed with your purchase. This applies to ALL UK buyers. I will combine multiple purchases (where compatible) so by all means buy as many items as you want (within Royal Mail Size & Weight Limits). If you purchase more than one item please don't pay until I have contacted you. I will send you an invoice with revised Postage. Although I try to keep costs down where possible by using Royal Mail Standard services, where multiple purchases are made it may sometimes be necessary to use other options. Royal Mail UK Standard services only offer compensation up to £20.00. Royal Mail UK Tracked 48 services offer compensation up to £150.00 while Royal Mail UK Special Delivery services offer compensation up to £2500.00. For buyer & seller peace of mind, I may adjust the postage rate when sending an invoice.

*NOTES ON CONDITION: I grade according to the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide & will not necessarily list all individual points in the written description. There will be a blanket grade for each component (sleeve, record etc), which smaller factors fall into. The general appearance will be clearly visible in the photographs. Please study the photographs in detail as they form the bulk of the description. Please be aware that play grading is based on my interpretation of what I hear on my system only. Although it is an honest assessment, it does not automatically follow that you would reach the same conclusion when listening on your own system, as there are so many variables. I DON’T use Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide categories when play grading, just my own judgement.

You shouldn’t have any problems with the transaction but please contact me first if you do.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
