I am helping my husband (unityaudiobob) (1200+) sell off some of his records. Either we sell some or he has to buy me a bigger house. For years he owned Unity Audio and now owns Cerious Technologies. Unity showed at 24 straight CES shows and it was routine for record companies to give him records for demo material. They were all 1st editions. He has 6000+ albums and many he has never listened to. For sale today is a MINT record, Jacket of Enya Watermark (a tie for best album with Shepard Moons,,,). Given to the Husband at CES for Demo I would guess a very low # 1st pressing. Played exactly twice for demo. These were minted in very limited quantities by Teldec in Germany of virgin vinyl and are a LARGE step up from domestic pressings - even better than Japanese and most MFSL. If played then on what? Micro Seiki 1500 FVG turntable, Fidelity Research arm and Lyra Etna cartridge. Yah...not going to hurt the record. He also has a Keith Monks cleaning machine that he HAS TO CLEAN EVERY TIME HE PLAYS something! My pain is your pleasure. Keeps everything perfect. Google it to find out more about the album. I am not being lazy asking you to Google it rather than trying to list everything about it. Googling it will bring up so much information and often even samples of the music so you can get a good idea of what it is like.
