Acetate Recordings are the test recordings that a record company will make to sample the work of an artist and decide if they want to record their work an mass produce it. Acetate Records are made by coating a metal disk with vinyl and are later recorded in the studio, live from the artists. Here is the first test recording of Eric Clapton's 461 Ocean Boulevard before the finished version of the album was pressed. Please HANDEL WITH CARE! These are Coated with vinyl and therefore the vinyl could be washed or chipped off.
