Eric Clapton ?– Crossroads 6 LP Box Set 1988 from Polydor ?– 835 262-1. Records are in NM to EX condition. Beautiful. The label for record 2, side 1 does have a manufacturing tear. Includes all original inner sleeves with song details. Also includes full size 30 page booklet (STDLCLPTON K1) and songwriters and publishers index (STDCLPTON N1). Box is in VG+ condition with no splits. There is some sun wear on one edge and this edge also has what appear to be water marks. Back of box does have some minor wear. Really nice copy of this box set with everything included that orginally came with it! See images for more details. All grading visual unless otherwise specified. Crossroads is a music collection box set released by Polydor Records on April 18, 1988 and features the work of British rock musician Eric Clapton. The set includes his work with The Yardbirds, John Mayall's Blues Breakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends and Derek and the Dominos, as well as his solo career.
Several live or alternate studio recordings were previously unreleased. Anthony DeCurtis contributed the liner notes to the album, where as The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood painted the albums cover. Mitchell Kanner designed the package and along with Michael Bays Art Directed the package. Crossroads was mastered by Greg Calbi and compiled by Bill Levenson. The album sold more than four million copies worldwide and was presented with six awards, two of them Grammy Awards the four disc boxed set took home in 1989. With both high commercial success and positive critics response, this is Clapton's most purchased box set to date.
