I am putting up for auction various PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection that may be of interest to collectors. From the greatest guitarist in Rock & Roll history, here is your chance to own an original PROMOTIONAL COPY of Eric Clapton’s double gatefold landmark LP entitled “LAYLA and Other Assorted Love Songs”.

Here are the details:

· As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. They were not made available to the general public. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities.

· This is the RARE ORIGINAL WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING of the LP.

· This is ATCO (Atlantic) RECORDS SD 2-704 released in 1970.

· The LP has so many GREAT cuts including “Layla”, “I Looked Away”, “Bell Bottom Blues”, “Keep on Growing”, and “Little Wing” just to name a few.

· The band members were: Eric Clapton, Jim Gordon, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, and Duane Allman (of the Allman Brothers).

· The GATEFOLD COVER is VERY STRONG VG CONDITION. There is just some slight front cover wear at the top, center and bottom of the cover. The rear cover has light wear at the top and bottom. There is some wear on all corners. There are a few nicks and a half-inch bald spot on the top left edge.

· The WHITE PROMO LABELS ARE CLEAN & WHITE.

· The VINYL (ALL 4 SIDES) is graded VERY STRONG VG+. Only some light hairlines and scuffs keep me from grading it NM.

· The LP comes with what I believe 2 correct ATCO inner paper sleeves.
