Description
For sale is Eric Clapton's self titled first album, released in 1970 by Atco Records. I bought this new, and like all my albums, cleaned it and immediately put it away into a protective inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG+ because ofg ring wear, stress cracks around the edges, corner blunts and edge wear. The spine has color loss from these stress cracks and corner rubs. The vinyl is graded as VG+ because there are surface scratches that make an occasional pop along with surface noise most noticeable in the quiet passages. Like all my records, it's been professional re-cleaned with my VPI record cleaner, put into a MFSL archival inner sleeve and played on audiophile equipment while I owned it. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection.
