Description
I am putting up for auction various PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection that may be of interest to collectors. From the greatest guitarist in Rock & Roll history, here is your chance to own an original PROMOTIONAL COPY of Eric Clapton’s first SOLO self-titled LP “ERIC CLAPTON”.
Here are the details:
· As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. They were not made available to the general public. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities.
· This is the RARE ORIGINAL WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING of the LP.
· This is ATCO (Atlantic) RECORDS SD 33-329 released in 1970.
· The LP has so many GREAT cuts including “After Midnight”, “Blues Power”, “Bottle of Red Wine”, and “Let It Rain” just to name a few.
· The COVER is VERY STRONG VG CONDITION (but some might grade it VG+). There is just some slight front cover wear at the top and bottom of the cover. The rear cover has light overall wear. There is some cracking on the spine (without paper loss) and some light wear on 3 corners with a small push on the bottom right corner.
· The WHITE PROMO LABELS ARE CLEAN & WHITE.
· The VINYL is graded VERY STRONG VG+ with a few light hairlines and surface scuffs.
· The LP comes with what I believe is the correct ATCO inner paper sleeve.

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
