Eric Dolphy -Last Date LP -Han Bennink Misja Mengelberg

One of Dolphy's final recordings. As far as I know it's the last one of any quality. Eric was, as they say, The Man.

The vinyl is VG+, there's some crackle here and there but it'd probably clean up - my machine is out of fluid again!

The sleeve is EX-, it's a really attractive one too.




Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 61. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum as well as being a fan of prog, psych and experimental music. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
