Description

This is Blue Note Records BST 84163, Eric Dolphy Out To Lunch, a blue and white New York USA label original stereo issue of this iconic record with the ear (p) mark and Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG-  condition showing scratches on both sides (and what looks like a rub blemish on side 2), that cause background noise below the music, more pronounced on the quiet spots. However, the record plays with no skips or distortion. The cover, with the 43 West 61st St. New York 23 address, has some age discoloration on the back and some wear on the top and bottom seams (part of the top seam has been repaired with picture glue) but is intact. The labels show spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is still a nice initial "play" grade copy of this classic original Blue Note. I do not usually offer records in this condition, but I've made an exception for this rare piece and I will be listing a few more like this over the next few days.
